Meet Nicole
I was born and raised in Southern Vermont and I have never lived anywhere else, you could say that I’m a true Vermonter. Since I was a little girl, I loved watching my mom do her nails at the dining room table, watching her put her makeup on every morning in front of an old medicine cabinet in the small apartment hallway I grew up in, and watching her blow-dry her hair upside down to give it more volume. She did those things because they made her feel beautiful not because she had to, she was beautiful to me. I have always had a passion for making people feel beautiful and more confident about themselves. I was always doing my friends' nails, styling their hair and making them up with makeup. I loved to see how happy it made them feel. I graduated high school in 2006 and got a job as a receptionist at a salon in my hometown. I then started an apprenticeship that led me to another salon and then another apprenticeship. In 2012 I got my Cosmetology License and in 2017 I opened my own beauty salon.
Along the way I worked alongside a wedding planner for a few years and there grew another passion for planning and organizing weddings. Of course, I loved planning weddings, I love organization and planning! The wedding day finally arrived and even though it was another wedding, each one was so different from the last. The couple, the color or theme, the dress, the hair, the huge guest list, the stress, the drama, the fun and the late nights. I eventually pulled away from planning weddings so I could pursue my career in the beauty industry. Now years later I am finding myself wanting to offer more than just hair and makeup for someone on their special day, I want to plan it too!

A Few Fun Things About Me
In January 2022, my husband and I planned to buy and remodel a camper by the time our son turned five. That summer we bought a 30-year-old camper. We spent the next few years remodeling it to feel like our home away from home. The camper is also an option for couples to rent for a weekend of camping in the Green Mountains!
I hope to travel the U.S., visiting National Parks, museums, and exploring the world as we watch our son grow up.
Charcuterie Boards are my favorite food to gather 'round with good friends.
When I’m not working in my salon or planning your special day, you can find me spending time with my family, working on house projects, or on an adventure.
